BAFISA delegation exchange with BSTI

On 11/12/2022, an exchange meeting was held with the delegation of the standing committee of BAFISA with the DG of BSTI and the respective directors, departmental in-charge officers.  Honorable president Mr. Md. Borhan E Sultan of BAFISA along with director in charge of standing committee Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain and chairman Moha: Abu Taher and other members of EC committee were present in the meeting. Notable in the discussion were the lengthy process to get testing reports of imported products, increased shipping costs and the country's money going abroad. As a result, he assured to seriously consider the matter of reducing it to 3-5 working days. Along with this, Bafisa demanded action against those who damage the reputation of the products by putting labels on the products in the domestic market of the imported products.
